Hollister resident Clara Cabale Garcia died suddenly at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital Sunday, Dec. 7. She was 92.

She was born in Camaguey, Cuba and came to Hollister seven years ago.

She was a homemaker all her adult life.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Agustin R. and Laura Garcia of Hollister, and Nelson and Maria Garcia-Cabale of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; grandchildren Laura and Michael Dubois of Hollister, Maria Garcia and Carol Christie of Roseville, Calif., Linda and Trent McNair, Maria Eugenia Garcia-Cabale of Seattle, Wash. and Gabriel Garcia-Cabale of Thousand Oaks; great-grandchildren Michael Dubois III of San Francisco, Jordan Dubois of Hollister and Aidain McNair of Hollister. She is also survived by one brother living in Cuba.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

Cremation with private inurnment are arranged through Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the care provided to her by the wonderful nursing staff at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Tolentino for the personal attention and care she provided during the years.
