A San Juan Road gas station was robbed at knife point Tuesday evening, with four suspects making off with cash and beer, the Hollister Police Department reported.

At 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, four Hispanic men entered Plaza 156, 1615 San Juan Rd., in Hollister, said officer Rosie Betanio, spokeswoman for the Hollister Police Department. The men fled westbound on San Juan Road in a green Honda Accord after the suspected robbery, officers said.

Betanio said investigators collected evidence from the scene, but she would not specify items taken.

A man entered the store and threatened the clerk with a knife while a second man took beer, police reported. Two 12-packs of Corona and two cases of Budweiser were taken, Betanio said.

A third man acted as a lookout and a fourth man was the getaway driver, Betanio said.

No one was injured in the suspected robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is encouraged to call the Hollister Police Department at (831) 636-4330.
