Cody Joe Anthenien, 21 of Gustine passed away Thursday in an Auto Accident.

Mr. Anthenien was a native of San Jose and a resident of Gustine for 15 years. He worked for Grasslands Water District as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 2 years. He attended Gustine High School and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, PRCA (Rodeo Assoc.) and California PRA ( Rodeo Assoc.) He was an avid Steer Roper and like wrestling, riding quads, hunting and duck hunting.

Mr. Anthenien is survived by his parents, Dale and Carrie Anthenien of Gustine; brother Dawson Anthenien of Gustine; sisters, Katelyn Anthenien and Andee Anthenien both of Gustine; grandfather, Louie Cordich and step-grandmother, Patricia Cordich of Gilroy; grandmother, Pam Frye and step-grandfather, Ernie Frye of Eagle, CO; special aunt, Azilee Frye of Eagle, CO and many aunts and uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 6th at The Shrine of Our Lady of Miracles in Gustine. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
