This Democratic Primary season has been the most dramatic in
American political history. The intensive attacks by Dr. Dean’s
Democratic challengers, the Bush administration, powerful special
interests and the media has taken a severe toll on his campaign.
However, the quest for the Democratic nomination will be a
marathon.

However, the quest for the Democratic nomination will be a marathon.
As some of us stated in the first Meetup, our involvement is to support the Democratic nominee and beat George W. Bush in November. Our country must not tolerate another four years of the most disastrous president in American history. The policy of lowering taxes and increasing spending is a radical economic principle that hasn’t found its way into theory. The ongoing destruction of our American ideals, institutions and resources gives us no other choice. “Anyone but Bush” as a cry for the restoration of our American dreams is the call to democratic participation.
We urge you to attend the meeting, bring a friend and two buckets of hope.
