The Hollister City Council six years ago approved a park master plan to renovate Vista Park Hill, seen here in 2009.

Hollister Community Watch has organized a clean-up event set for Saturday morning.
The event, starting in the main parking area at Vista Park Hill Park, is set for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Those sponsoring it include the Hollister firefighters union, the city police union, the city, Recology and the San Benito County Regional Agency. Their announcement stressed that students are welcome with school official chaperones.
The “targets” for the clean-up are Meridian Street – with trash and weed abatement – and Airline Highway with the same types of duties.
