Hollister resident
Cory A. Chirco died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at her home in Hollister after a lengthy illness. She was 24.

Mrs. Chirco was born in Santa Clara and had lived in Apple Valley before moving to Hollister in 1995. She was a homemaker and an associate of Hollister Christian Fellowship and Hillside Christian Fellowship in Hollister. She enjoyed music and played the piano for her own enjoyment, and was a devoted wife and mother, according to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Chirco of Hollister; her daughter, Paige Chirco of Hollister; her parents, Jack and Joanne Hewton of Hollister; her sister, Casey Martin of Hollister; and her grandmothers, June Hisatomi of Campbell, Virginia Chirco of La Morada and Marie Farinholt of Hisperia.

Friends are invited to a celebration of her life Saturday at 1 p.m. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Private cremation will be through Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Crematory.

Memorials are preferred to the American Red Cross or the Leukemia Society, in care of the funeral home.
