Daniel “Columbo” Montenegro died in Truckee Monday, July 28 at the age of 45.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lugarda Arballo and Mac Montenegro.

He is survived by his brothers Mackey Montenegro of Visalia and Anthony Villareal of Lakewood, sisters Ramona Mills of Lake Tahoe, Nev. and Benita Montenegro of Lake Tahoe, Calif., one niece, six nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
