Darlene passed away peacefully Sunday, January 17, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was 83 years old.
She is survived by her son Ted, daughter-in-law Cecelia, daughter Diane, grandson Ty, granddaughters Heather and Brittany, and seven great grandchildren.
Darlene was born in Henderson, Nebraska. She came from a large family of 14. She graduated from Watsonville High School and settled in Hollister marrying Henry Intravia. She enjoyed entertaining with swim parties and summer barbeques. Her knitting and many craft projects always kept her busy. Those around her always were treated with handmade gifts. She was a great cook and enjoyed making meals for her family and friends. She will always be remembered fondly by those who loved her.
She loved animals, always having dogs to keep her company. In lieu of flowers a donation to Pet Friends in the memory of Darlene in care of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister,Ca95023 would be appreciated.
