Dennis Frank Dias passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital last Wednesday at the age of 45. A native of Hollister, Dennis attended Tres Pinos School until the 8th grade, then graduated from San Benito High School. He served his country in the US Army. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

He loved watching football, was a Raider Fan, enjoyed the out-of-doors camping, and took pride in his 1978 Chevy pickup. He had been a production worker for Teledyne McCormick Selph and for the last four years was a professional carpet installer. He was the son of the late Arthur Dias Jr. and Josephine Dias. He is survived by sisters Janet Vega (husband Joe); and Judy Dias both of Hollister; Linda Dias of Newman, Susan Dias of Phoenix; Kathy & Victoria Dias; his brother John Dias of Hollister; and sister-in-law Ellie Dias of Texas. He was preceded in death by brothers Bobby, Peter, and Arthur Dias. Nieces and nephews survive. Arrangements were made for private cremation at Grunnagle Ament Nelson Crematory, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of The Resurrection Saturday, March 17th at 1:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Church 7290 Airline Hwy, Tres Pinos.

The family will accept contributions to offset their expenses.
