Dionicio Guttirez, Jr. passed away at his Hollister home at the age of 58. He was born in Hollister and lived here all of his life. He attended local schools and worked as a carpenter by trade. He attended New Harvest Christian Fellowship, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and really enjoyed family reunions that were held every two years.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Guttirez of Hollister, his son and daughter, Donnie Guttirez III (Stella) of Hollister and Stephanie Guttirez of Fresno, his brothers and sisters, Joe Saldivar of Hollister, Connie Lopez of Robbins, CA, Genevieve Valdez of Santa Ana, Ruben Guttirez of Portland, OR, Arnold Guttirez of Hollister, Gilbert Guttirez of Hollister, David Guttirez of Hollister, Betty Nash of Beaverton, OR, Sal Luna of Hillsboro, OR and George Luna of Hollister, his grandchildren, Donnie Gutirrez IV, Valerie Guttirez and Angelica Guttirez and his great-grandchildren, Cynthia Guttirez, Donnie Guttirez V, Reyden Vargas and Hayden Calderon and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dionicio Guttirez, Sr and Mildred Luna and his two brothers, Jesse Guttirez and Richard Guttirez.

Friends can pay their respects on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 A.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services with private family inurnment.
