HOLLISTER
The Hollister School District Board of Trustees will hold a meeting tonight where the panel is set to discuss the school’s wellness policy.
The trustees will be presented with information on the district’s policies on food sales and nutrition. Districtwide regulations were developed and implemented last spring, but this will serve to clarify the policy.
At the board meeting, Janet Felice, the manager of food and warehouse services, will discuss the schools’ rules when it comes to bake sales and birthday snacks.
Trustees will also examine their own rules and bylaws and hear an accountability progress report from Rancho San Justo Middle School.
