Donna Mae Clark entered into rest peacefully at the age of 96 at home in Hollister. She was born in Boone County, IN and is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Clark, in 1982. As a military wife, she traveled the world. She settled in Hollister in 1978 and was active in the Women’s Club of Hollister, holding many offices as well as president and was honored as Woman of the Century in the year 2000. She was also an active member of the Republican Women and a member of the Hollister First Presbyterian Church and Bolado Park Women’s Nine Hole Club. She was an active golfer, even after she was 90 years old. Her indomitable spirit is a lasting legacy for her family.

She is the beloved mother of Alta Clark of Hollister and Sue Clark of Picton, Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by her sisters and brother, Leota Marie Good of Detroit, MI, Martha Amanda Gline of MI and Donald Gene Mitchell of IN, her grandchildren and their spouses, Thomas Clark Mohamed (Teresa Marie), Terrie Sue Walsh (Thomas), Kellie Lynn Curtis, Stacie Alice Curtis, Roberta Lee Curtis, Sharon Mae Weinstein (Steven Price), Laura Ellen Weinstein, Mobee Eileen Weinstein (Ahmet Sumer) and Gary Dale Silacci (Lisa) and 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Martin of Hanford and is survived by her son-in-law, John Martin of Hanford.

Friends are invited to attend her memorial services on Tues. Nov. 27, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at The First Presbyterian Church in Hollister.

Interment will be at Camellia Memorial Lawn in Sacramento.

Donations are preferred to Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary, c/o Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
