 On Saturday March 2nd, 2013, Donny passed away at home surrounded by his family. He fought a brave brawl against Cholangiocarcinoma , a rare biliary duct cancer.
 Donny was born and raised in Hollister and resided in Sacramento until his diagnosis. He was a humbly confident young man, never afraid to ask a question. Donny loved to travel and experienced different cultures. He backpacked through Malaysia and Costa Rica with his brother , Panama and Cabo with his wife.
 He was never one to waste time being sedentary. If he wasn’t working he was hiking, fishing, traveling and just out living every day of his life.
 Donny was an old soul from birth. He had patience and great insight into the ways of people and the world. He looked at things differently, calmer and more peacefully than most. He found humor in the small things in life. To be in his presence and really know the essence and quality of him was an honor. To be considered his friend was the truest honor.
 He will be forever remembered and loved by his friends and family.
 Donny leaves the love of his life, his wife Kendra; his brother, Robert (Rachel), his mother , Lori; and his loyal canine companion, Ernie; his grandparents Ron and Sue Edson, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; his Godmother Geri Wilson, and Godfather Mike Edson; his father Keith; parents-in-law Jack and Val Myrick and brother in-law Kyle of Sonora.
