Doris E. Silva died April 23 in Hollister at the age of 86. She
was born in Aurora, Mo. and lived in Hollister since 1972.
She worked as a cook at Hazel Hawkins Hospital for many
years.

She is survived by her niece, Donna Hegland of Glendale, Ariz.; her sister Dana Hillhouse of Los Angeles; and her very close friend, Joanne Kinslow, of Hollister; and many other close friends in the senior complex where she lived.
Private cremation services are being conducted through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory. Private family inurnment will follow the cremation.
