years old.
Doroteo “Ed” Guiza passed away on Dec. 4, at St. Louise Hospital. He was 77 years old.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Martha (Jeanette) Guiza; his step-daughters Margaret Altman and Deloris Tate; his parents Eduardo and Transito Guiza; and his sisters, Martinita and Matilda Guiza.
He is survived by his brother Bernard Guiza; sister-in-law Lucy Guiza; sister Frances Guiza; nephew Eddie Guiza; niece Tina Guiza; grand niece Alexis Guiza, and grand nephew Jacob Guiza. He served in the U. S. Army for many years and was stationed in Germany, Korea, and Vietnam.
Graveside services were conducted at Calvary Cemetery on Wednesday Dec. 8 at noon by Fr. Rudy Ruiz from Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements for the services were under the direction of Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home 870 San Benito St., Hollister.
