in Gilroy.
Dorothy Elsa Hermann died peacefully Dec. 24 at her family home in Gilroy.

Mrs. Hermann was born and raised in Seattle, Wash. and moved to California in 1947. She was co-founder of National Fiberglass Corporation based in Gilroy. Other business ventures include The Cutting Horse Restaurant located in San Juan Bautista where she was co-owner for 17 years.

She is survived by her children, Lehanna R. Boyd of Gilroy, John Hermann of Hillsboro, Ore., Deborah Lekberg of Mechanicsberg, Penn., and Dorian Mackay of Placerville; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her beloved pets.

Family will have private services. In lieu of flowers, please send donations on behalf of Dorothy Hermann to the local SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy.
