Douglas D. Colliver passed away in San Jose at the age of 53. He was born in Gilroy and lived in Paicines for many years and was raised in San Juan Bautista. He liked woodworking, fishing, hunting, cooking and being out of doors. He is survived by his love, Connie Marquez of Paicines, his daughter and her husband, Toni and Ken Broadhurst of Chico and his grandchildren, Damien Colliver and Stacia Broadhurst of Chico and Nathanial and Cailann Marquez of Hollister and his sisters, Stephanie Broadstreet and Sharon Olinger of Hollister and his niece and nephew, Tommy Broadstreet and Brittany Broadstreet and other nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Douglas’ life will be on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos on Hwy. 25 (Airline Hwy.)

Cremation will be followed by private family inurnment.
