A Memorial Service to honor his life will be held at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister, CA, Wednesday, June 19th, at 11:00 A.M.  Douglas was born to Paul and Emma Havens in Salt Lake City, UT.

 He is survived by his daughter, Linda Havens of San Juan Bautista, CA; son Mark Havens (Jill) of Lafayette, CA; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lindsay, Nikki, and Zach; great-grandsons, Antonio and Asher.

 He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerrie Havens, and sister, Donna Larsen, and is survived by his brother, Paul Havens (Manila, Utah).

 Douglas was a member of the United States Armed Forces and served during the Korean War.
