Dear Editor,

I think that this SBHS “dress code” or lack thereof is absolutely out of control! The principal states that it is everyone’s job to report it if there is something inappropriate being worn. May I say that the students following the dress code are not the ones that should report it?

Faculty members have the absolute responsibility of following through by removing them from class. To simply hand them a loaner shirt and send them back to class does nothing except keep them in school – which makes the district dollars continue to flow but does nothing for setting the stage to bring the dress code back to acceptable levels.

To summarize: It isn’t the students pushing dress code limits – it is the adults at home and at school putting up with it!
