E. (Maggie) Magdalen Freeman, 95, passed away on September 4, 2008 at her daughter’s home in Arlington, WA. She was born to Andrew Jackson and Mary Francis Hendricks on August 27, 1913 in Tres Pinos, CA. Maggie graduated from Livingston High School in Livingston, CA in 1935. She enjoyed sewing, painting and gardening. Maggie was known for being a strong, outgoing, and artistic woman. Surviving Maggie are her daughters, Barbara Elsie Hopper of Arlington, WA, Royalee Russllyn Cannon of Kent, WA, Jessie Elizabeth Ann Cravens of Arlington, WA, 14 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-granchildren. Maggie was preceeded in death by her daughter Elva Jane Eckles, her first husband Roy Russell Pierce, fire chief of Santa Clara county for many years and her second husband Cheif Petty Officer Roy George Freeman.

Services will be held at St. Aidans Episcopal Church, Camano Island, WA on Friday September 26,2008. at 2:00 P.M.

Inurnment will be held at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy, CA. Date to be announced.
