Edna May Marrujo (nee Ervin), a retired cannery worker, died peacefully in the embrace of her loving daughters on October 21st, 2008. She was 84. She was the daughter of Oliver and Ardath Ervin.

Her husband, Ben Marrujo, predeceased her in 1983, as did her brothers, Everett Ervin and James W. Ervin.

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Bertero-Pittroff (Lyle) of Hollister and Phyllis Armenta (Robert Dillon) of Gilroy, grandchildren

Steve Bertero, the late Carrie Bertero, Angela Scarcella, David Armenta, many great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, Saturday, November 1st, 2008, at noon.

Remembrances may be made to Live Oak Adult Day Services, 651 W 6th Street, Gilroy, the

Alzheimer’s Association, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
