Lifetime Hollister resident Edwin “Skeeters” F. Barnes died suddenly at the age of 47 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital Wednesday, July 16.
Barnes attended local schools and worked various construction jobs for the past 30 years.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Wally and Sally Barnes of Hollister; nieces Leora and Michelle Barnes of Hollister and Jennifer and Kimberly Warren of Hayward, Calif.; and nephews Wally Barnes III of Merced and Timothy Barnes of Hollister. He is also survived by four great-nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday at noon at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Cremation and private inurnment were arranged at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Crematory.
