Emily Pasek died Oct. 15 in Hollister. She was 89.

She was born May 1, 1914 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Pasek.

She is survived by her sons James (Mary) Pasek of Hollister, and Robert (Marilyn) Pasek of Colorado Springs, Colo. Emily was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be private.

Lima Family Erickson Mortuary in San Jose has been helping the family.
