Emma Lucille Sardinha died Sunday, April 20, 2003 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. She was 68.

Mrs. Sardinha was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, and came to Hollister from Sunnyvale five years ago. She and her husband were married in 1976 in Reno, Nev. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo in the area.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Sardinha of Hollister; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Gargiulo of Hollister; her son, Kenneth Lee Schulz of San Jose; her brother, Omer Gilmore Bradshaw of Petaluma; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28 at 11 a.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rev. Russ Aldrich of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery.

Services will be followed by a reception at the home of Carolyn and Richard Gargiulo, 3235 San Juan-Hollister Road.
