Passed away at his home, Wednesday, June 17, 2009. He was the husband of Esperanza Puente of Gilroy, father of Estella Cantu of Louisiana, Gloria Sumisaki (Roy) of Gilroy, Ermelindo M. Puente Jr., (Mary Ann) of Gilroy, Joaquin Puente (Lupe) of Gilroy, Ralph Puente of San Martin, Genero Puente of San Diego, Robert Puente of Gilroy and Hope Pasqual (Eladio) of Milpitas. He was grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of many, as well as brother of Genaro, Joe, Isabell and Modesta.
Ermelindo worked at Gentry’s for 38 years and Filice & Perrelli Cannery. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church.
Memorial Services Monday, June 22, 2009 – 10:00 A.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
