Ernesto S. Gallegos died in Hollister. He was born in Mexico and lived in Hollister for 46 years, coming here from Laton, CA and worked for Almaden Vineyards. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the United Farm Workers Union. He enjoyed gardening in his free time.
He is survived by his nieces and nephew, Jennie Godoy of Hollister, Pat Aguayo of Laton and Joseph Rodriguez of Santa Fe Springs and many other nieces and nephews.
Friends can pay their respects on Friday, May 11, 2007 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. A Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. The Mass will be on Saturday, May 12th at 12:00 noon at Sacred Heart Church. Friends can gather at the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. for a procession to the church. Cremation will follow the Mass with interment on Monday, May 14th at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Cemetery.
Donations are preferred to St. Jude Childrens’ Hospital.
