Esperanza L. Milla, born Oct. 22, 1918, in Riverside, CA, entered into rest Feb. 2, 2007 in Gilroy, CA.
She was the loving mother of Delores Ordiniza, Teresa Hernandez, Juana Milla-McHenry, and Jeannette Link, all of Gilroy, Olivia Cobos of Oroville, Julia Gutierrez of Los Gatos, and Richard Milla of Fremont; also 25 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother Alfonso (Poncho) Milla and loving sister-in-law, Connie, of Riverside. She is also survived by daughters-in-law, Julia Milla and Joyce Milla; and sons-in-law, Roger McHenry, Jerry Ordiniza, Alex Hernandez, Frank Cobos and Paul Link. She was preceded in death by son, Alfonso Milla, brothers, Salvador Lara, John Lara, sister, Lupe Lunar, and granddaughter, Vivian Cobos.
Vigil Tuesday, February 6, 2007 – 7:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at the funeral home at 9:00 A.M., then to St. Mary Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy.
