Sister of Manuela Castillo and Natividad Fierro, aunt, cousin, and friend to many, came to the end of her life’s adventure on May 5, 2007. She will be remembered and missed by all those that knew and loved her.

A native of Brawley, California, Esperanza moved to Gilroy in the 1940’s and started a long career with the Gilroy Cannery. Every day was an adventure for Esperanza, whether it be a trip, walking to the home of a friend, or enjoying a birthday party. She lived her life to its fullest and the memories of how she lived her life will forever bring a smile to the face of everyone who knew her.
