Estelle S. Pakula passed away in Hollister. She was born in Chicago, IL, was of Polish decent and resided in Hollister for the last 2-1/2 years. She went parasailing on her 80th birthday and walked on an iceberg in Alaska in 2001. She also liked to dance to the Polka.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester J. Pakula. She is survived by her children, Chestra Reeves and her husband, Walter Reeves of Hollister, her son, Norman Pakula of Kingman,AZ, her grandchildren, Denise Reeves of Hollister, Michael Reeves of Hollister, Bernadette and Frank Koenen of Flagstaff, AZ, Nicole Pakula of Chicago,IL and Rebecca Pakula of Chicago and her great-grandchildren, John England of Hollister, Sarah and Matthew Koenen of Flagstaff, AZ and Ryan Pakula of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven M. Pakula who died in March of this year. Estelle was the last to survive of 13 brothers and sisters.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 16, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church in Hollister.

Arrangements have been made for private cremation with private family inurnment.
