Ethel Marie Robba, of Lodi, CA, age 90, went to her Heavenly home on March 26, 2008.

She was born on May 16, 1917 in Gregory, South Dakota, and came to Lodi with her family in 1934.

She spent her life in Lodi, the Bay Area, and in Hollister, where she worked for the Hollister school district for ten years, and then for the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary for twenty-six years. She moved back to Lodi in 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband Angelo Robba, daughter Sonja Reynolds, her parents Carl and Florence Dietz, her granddaughter Lynn King, brothers Roland and Don Dietz, and sister Carleen McLeod.

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Hubert) Schultz of Lodi, son Michael (LaVerne) Larson of Chandler, Arizona, stepdaughter Emilie Robba of Burlingame, brother Robert Dietz of Brookings, Oregon, sisters Norma Seavey and Lucille Loftus of Lodi, six grandchildren Frank Schultz, Hobie Schultz, Paul Schultz, Deborah Carter, Michelle Mullen, and Gregory Robba, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Monday, March 31st, at 12:00 noon in the Garden of Prayer at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Lane, Lodi, with Pastor Dave Garner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Ethel had requested that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Grace Community Followship Church, corner of Augusta and Orange Sts, Woodbridge, CA 95258.
