Eudomilia del Cocorro Ochoa passed away on the evening of April
15, 2004 at the Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital after a short
illness. Born in Cinco Pinos, Nicaragua in 1912, she was 92 years
old.
Eudomilia del Cocorro Ochoa passed away on the evening of April 15, 2004 at the Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Cinco Pinos, Nicaragua in 1912, she was 92 years old.

“Mama Coya” was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She moved to San Benito County in 1989 after leaving Venezuela for California in 1984.

She is survived by daughter Anita Rose Ochoa of San Francisco, daughter Conny Silva of San Francisco, daughter Esmelda Rios of San Francisco, daughter Celina Berrios of Nicaragua, son Luis Kontorovsky and wife Maribel of Venezuela, her grandchildren Marco T. Meza, Isabel Olivares, Jose Ochoa, Addy and Al Rios, David and Isaac Kontorovsky, Martha Zenzano, Ana M. Stankey and Juan Berrios, and great- grandchildren Michael and Christopher Stankey, Jessica Meza, Connie Marie Meza, Stefanie Meza, Michael and Daniel Zenzano, Lance and Holman Torno and Carmen Ochoa, in addition to several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday with the Rosary offered Sunday evening at 7 at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home proceeding to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Burial and graveside services will follow at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Colma, Calif.
