I got high on Tuesday. Two thousand feet above the ground, that
is, in a tiny Cessna 172 four-seater airplane.
And not only was this my first time aboard a very small plane, I
flew it almost completely by myself, courtesy of Gavilan Aviation,
Inc. flight school at the Hollister Municipal Airport and a
nationwide program called Be A Pilot.
