After going 1-6 in Anzar’s first football season, a pair of Hawks were honored by the California Athletic League.
Anzar captain Daniel Modic and leading-rusher Jesse Jimenez were named to the first-team all-league squad.

Jimenez, who was injured before the season’s final game, was the focal point of the Hawks offense. Using his superior size, Jimenez earned tough yards throughout the season.
Both players are graduating seniors.
