Francisco Jacquez passed away suddenly at his residence on November 23rd at the age of 75 years. Mr. Jacquez was a native of Mexico and has been a Hollister resident since 1970. He retired from Tri-Valley Cannery as a forklift operator after a career that spanned 30 years. He was a member of Teamster Local 890 of Salinas. Since retiring, his enjoyment included spending time with relatives and friends, playing card games, playing Dominos, and listening to music.

Francisco was the spouse of the late Natividad Jacquez, who passed away in June of 1997. Surviving are his children; Felix Jacquez of San Diego, Samuel, Sylvia, and Elsa Jacquez of Los Banos, Francisco Jr., David, Jose, Peter, and Abel Jacquez of Hollister, Lucia DeLeon of Dos Palos, Roberto Jacquez of Simi Valley, and Bernardo Jacquez of Mexico. Also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the chapel of the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister on Wednesday, November 29th, beginning at 2:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will leave the mortuary on Thursday morning at 9:30 AM for graveside services at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
