Fred Anthony Arena passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 48 in Hollister. A native of Illinois, Fred had lived in Santa Cruz for over 10 years, coming to Hollister 2-½ years ago. Fred was an alarm technician with First Alarm. He was an avid HOG member.
Fred is survived by his wife, Lori Lynne Arena (Vajretti) of Hollister, children, Fred Arena of Norridge, IL, Nicholas Anthony Arena, wife, Charisse, of Huntley,IL and Laci Lynne Arena of Hollister, grandchildren, Brianna and Nicholas Arena. He was the son of the late Frank E. Arena and Lena Greco-Arena of Norridge, IL. Brother of Marylee Griffith of Naperville, IL, Frank E. Arena, 11, Wife, Debra, of Avondale, AZ and Debra Hardee, husband, David, of Serena, IL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 11 A.M. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister.
