Fred was born in San Juan Bautista and lived in Hollister until 1953. He worked as a carpenter for his entire working career. While in Hollister, he was given the job of building the Bolado Park Golf Club House with the assistance of many of the golfers. He moved to San Jose in 1953, where he married his loving wife Geraldine. He is survived by his wife and children; Catherine Thompson, Fred Tuso III, Sue Pershon, and Michael Tuso, his two sisters; Lena Lewis and Chelsea Vaccarezza, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A vigil will be held at Lima Family Mortuary, 710 Willow St., San Jose, on August 8 at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated on August 9th at 12 noon at St. Christopher’s Church, 1576 Curtner Ave., San Jose. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to St. Christopher Out-Reach Program, 2278 Booksin Ave., San Jose, CA 95125, in Fred’s memory.
