Fred Joseph Leonetti passed away Friday morning at the age of 82 at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister. He was born and lived in San Jose, and came to Hollister in 1989. Fred had been a cobbler for over 50 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Hollister Elk’s Lodge. Fred was an avid golfer, belonging to the Ridgemark Golf & Country Club.
Fred is survived by his wife, Sara Leonetti of Hollister, 2 sons, Robert and Rich Leonetti both of San Jose, brother, Albert Leonetti of Folsom and sister, Mary Richards of San Jose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos, Wednesday, October 10th at 9:45 A.M. to attend the funeral Mass commencing at 10 A.M. Entombment and committal services will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Hollister. Contributions are preferred to your favorite charity in care of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
