Frederick I. Sanchez Jr. passed away in San Jose at the age of 90. He lived in Los Gatos for 77 years and owned and operated Fred’s Shoe Box.
He moved to Hollister 13 years ago. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Sanchez who died in 2007 and his son, Frederick Sanchez III who died in 2009.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Anna and Marc Garfinkel of Carlsbad, CA and his grandchildren, Alison Garfinkel of Padadena, Richard Garfinkel of San Diego and David Garfinkel of New York City.
Private cremation will be followed by private burial at sea.
