Gary Michael Jaszewski, age 60 passed away peacefully at his home in Los Gatos surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, March 2, 2008.
Gary was born in Gilroy, CA on August 4, 1947 to Ann Jaszewski and the late David Jaszewski. His siblings are: brother Rick (CeCe) Jaszewski (Gilroy, CA) and sisters Terri (Tim) Ryan (San Diego, CA) & Suzi (Phil) Munoz (Aptos, CA). Other surviving relatives include brother-in-law Jim (Kaye) Dal Bon (Granite Bay, CA) and sister-in-law Celeste (Dave) Granicy (North Bend, OR) and many nieces and nephews.
Gary was married for 39 years to his high school sweetheart Suzanne Jaszewski. His immediate family members include: daughter Laura (Craig) Carrier, granddaughters Alyssa and Sydney Carrier (Santa Maria, CA) and son David (Angela) Jaszewski (Rancho Cordova, CA).
Gary received his AS degree from Gavilan College in 1967 and received his MS Degree in mathematics from Fresno State College in 1970. He was in the United States Air Force for eight years and was a Captain when he was honorably discharged in 1978. Gary worked for 30 years as a software engineer in Silicon Valley at: GTE, VisiCorp, Control Data, CSI, 3Com, Cemetric/Telseon and most recently for Scalent Systems, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA.
A memorial service will be held for Gary on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. at La Rinconada Country Club, 14595 Clearview Drive, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
