This Saturday, Gavilan faces Hartnell College here, in the only home game not played in Gilroy. It is alumni homecoming night celebrating Bobby Garcia’s national championship team which had a number of San Benito County players. The Dispatch and the Morgan Hill Times both had stories (by Bob Burch) about the win over DeAnza and the significance of the conference game on Saturday. The Free Lance is listed as a “Proud Sponsor” in the Gav football program, so I hope you will be able to provide news of “our” community college. I am a former, proud Gav student and a current college Trustee. Thank you.
