German Rodriguez Reyes died in Hollister on April 25. He was born in Tecate, Mexico and was 83 years old.
He worked many years in the agriculture business in San Benito County and for about four years in the Imperial Valley. He had been a resident of Hollister for over 30 years coming here from Mexicali, Mexico. He married his wife, Consuelo, in 1958 in Mexicali and was a member of the Apostolic Bible Learning Center in Hollister.
He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Rodriguez of Hollister; his children, Dina Rodriguez of Sacramento, Joel Rodriguez of Hollister, Sergio Rodriguez of Hollister, Ada Rodriguez of Hollister, Consuelo Gonzalez of Hollister, German Rodriguez Jr. of Hollister, Ruben Rodriguez of Hollister and Manuel Rodriguez of Hollister; his brothers and sisters, Eduviges Ramos of Mexicali, Ignacia Perez of Mexicali, Jose Maria Rodriguez of Mexicali, Nicolas Rodriguez of Mexicali, Ildefonso Rodriguez of Stockton, Roberto Rodriguez of El Centro, Felix Rodriguez of Los Angeles, Juan Rodriguez of Stockton, Diego Rodriguez of Los Angeles and Ruben Rodriguez of Los Angeles. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Prayer services will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 7pm at the Apostolic Bible Learning Center, Fifth and East Streets, Hollister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29 at 10am at The Apostolic Bible Learning Center. Pastor Juan Benevides will officiate. Interment will follow the services at the IOOF Cemetery. Friends can pay their respects at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home from noon until 5pm on Thursday afternoon and then at the church.
