The juvenile – who was estimated by witnesses as 15 years old – shot the man in the face, police said. The teen then fired several rounds into the house and ran away.

At the time of the shooting, five other people were in the living room – a 25-year-old female, a 21-year-old female, a 3-year-old female, a 1-year-old female and a 4-month-old female.

The man was taken to Saint Louise Regional Hospital, where he was treated for his wounds, police said. Police did not say if the man had been released by Wednesday morning.
