Gloria Rose Bozzo Filice, affectionately known as Zsa Zsa, passed away peacefully at her home August 20, 2007. She is survived by her children Patti Littlejohn and her husband Everett of Gilroy, John G. Filice and his wife Kim of Gilroy, and Toni Rinde and her husband Knute of Hollister, grandchildren; Kristann and Mark Mangano, Michelyn and Frank Delgado, Tiffany and Richard Helmly, and Wendy Rinde Solorio, 12 great- grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Carmen F. Filice, brothers; Vince and Junior Bozzo, sister Florence Rizzi, and
great-grandson, Ryan Mangano.
Gloria was born June 11, 1921 in Clairton, PA and moved to Gilroy in 1932 at the age of 11. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Gloria proudly worked in the Filice and Perrelli cannery for 25 years where she developed many lifelong friendships.
Gloria greatly enjoyed weekly poker games with her family and friends and Zsa Zsa’s house was always open to all.
A viewing will begin Thursday at 1P.M. with Vigil services beginning at 7 P.M., both at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Mass will be said Friday at 10 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with burial following at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her name to Odyssey Hospice, St. Mary School, or St. Joseph’s Welfare Center.
