Gloria Santos passed away at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. She died from complications of heart surgery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Ricardo G. Santos. She was born in Dallas, TX and lived briefly in San Antonio and then moved to California. At the time of her passing she was a resident of Hollister.
We will remember our mom as beautiful, loving, caring, giving, feisty, accepting and remarkable and downright wonderful. She was a joy to know and always gave the best hugs. She enjoyed family celebrations and loved animals dearly, especially her little dogs, Hamptina and Ebonie.
She is survived by her children, Marisela, Lidia, Cristina and Gabriel. She had 6 grandchildren whom she adored and meant the world to her, Javier Jr, Joel, Alyssa, Julia, Eric and Alex.
Friends can pay their respects on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister. Funeral services will be Saturday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
