Glyn Barrie Jackson, age 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2011.
Dearly beloved husband of 43 years of Marcella Bruton Jackson, loving father of Brian Jackson and Timothy Jackson, devoted father in law of Trina Jackson and Yasuko Jackson, Adoring grandfather of Caitlyn, Kirstin, Kimberly, Maya, and Emma Jackson. Glyn was the son of the late Allen Jackson and Jean Teale, brother of Angela Perryman, Susan Teale, and Marilyn Case, He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Glyn was born on January 20, 1939, in Dewsbury, England. He came to the U.S. with his parents in 1955. He served proudly in the U.S. Airforce for 7 years. He married Marcella in 1967. After 20 years with IBM he started a Merry Maids franchise in San Jose, from which he retired in 2003. He loved to travel, read, work with his computer, and most of all, he loved his family.
