Grace M. Summers passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital
on Jan. 29 at the age of 79 years.
Grace M. Summers passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital on Jan. 29 at the age of 79 years.
A native of Alliance, Ohio, Mrs. Summers was a resident of San Benito County since 1989. A homemaker most of her adult life, Grace enjoyed playing bingo at the various bingo events in San Benito County which helped to support certain charities and educational programs. Her family, animals, pets and crocheting brought joy to her life.
Grace is survived by her husband Vince Summers of Hollister; her sister Kathleen Tanner of Ohio; her niece Carol McCarey and spouse William of Hollister; and grand nephew Louis Burris of San Jose.
As per Grace’s wishes no formal services will be held. Arrangements have been made for private cremation through Grunnagle Ament Nelson Crematory 870 San Benito St., Hollister with interment of her cremains at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine.
Memorials are preferred to the Heart Fund or Cancer Society c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home.
