Gretchen was the loving mother of Peter Ogden and wife Ina of Parker, Colo; loving grandmother of Dewin Ogden and Steve of Fremont, Kimberly and Robert Grieve of Parker, Colo., James and Tashana Ogden of Yuba City, Robert and Danielle Agden of Surprise, Ariz; beloved sister of Anneliese Williams of Hollister; great grandmother of Savannah of Fremont; loving aunt of Kurt and Susan Williams of Fresno, Kreig and Ginnie Williams of Lodi, Karen and Dax Kimmelshue of Durham; great aunt of Michael, Tommy, Stacey and Kyle Williams, Candace and Dustin Kimmelshue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ogden in 1982 and parents Fritz and Helene Stuber.
Gretchen was a great adventurous woman who enjoyed her family and traveling. She was young at heart and energetic and enjoyed time with her friends dancing and laughing. Gretchen always knew how to light up a room. Her smile and wisdom will forever fill our hearts. Always friendly, Gretchen was always available and giving of her time and her love to those in need. She’ll be greatly missed. Gretchen worked for the Oakland Tribune, Peninsula Times Tribune, Sunnyvale Standard, TransAmerica and Gygax Realty.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 1pm at Prince of Peace Church in Fremont.
