San Juan Bautista resident
San Juan Bautista resident Guadalupe S. Reyes died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Hazel Hawkins Northside Convalescent Hospital. She was 86.

Mrs. Reyes had lived in San Juan Bautista for 60 years. She worked in local canneries prior to her retirement and was a member of Mission San Juan Bautista.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ida and Gilbert Cosio of Hollister, Mariann Reyes and Ruben Reyes, both of San Juan Bautista, Casey and Joe Rodriguez and Jennie and Felix Valdivia, all of San Jose, Rosie Reyes of Oakland and Silverio Reyes of Milpitas; her brothers and sisters, Gloria Gaboni and Annie Figureoa, both of San Juan Bautista, Carmen Navarro of Watsonville, Fred Sanchez of Mammoth, Ariz., Raymond Sanchez of Oracle, Ariz., Alex Sanchez and Rufino Sanchez, both of Pima, Ariz., Max Sanchez of Tucson, Ariz., Ernest Sanchez of Kearney, Ariz. and Rita Jimenez of Superior, Ariz.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 27 from noon until 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Vigil services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be followed by interment at San Juan District Cemetery.
