H. Mike Bayly passed away Sunday evening at his home in Paicines at the age of 80. He died unexpectedly after having recently returned from traveling the Antarctica. Mike was a local rancher coming to San Benito County over 50 years ago. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos and also served on the Willow Grove School board for 14 years.

Mike is survived by his wife Beverly of Paicines and his children, Clint Bayly of Carmel, Donald Bayly of Oakland, Oregon, Joan Dunn of Lewiston, Idaho, James Bayly of Washington and Amy Orlins of San Francisco. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary LaRue Bayly and his daughter, Helen Marie Bayly. He also is survived by 11 grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to meet at the Immaculate Conception Church, 7290 Airline Highway, Tres Pinos, on Friday, December 28, at 9:45 A.M. to attend the funeral Mass commencing at 10 A.M. Burial and graveside services to follow at Calvary Cemetery, 100 Hillcrest Rd., Hollister.
