Tres Pinos resident
Tres Pinos resident Hasan M. Abuhamdeh died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003 at Stanford Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 68.

Mr. Abuhamdeh was born in Jerusalem, Palestine. He came to California in 1969 and had lived in Tres Pinos for three years. He worked in the window covering business for 35 years and owned stores in Sunnyvale and San Jose. He also worked with the Adult Literacy Program in Hollister.

He is survived by his wife, Judith L. Abuhamdeh of Tres Pinos; his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Joseph McGrath of Hollister; his son, Stephen Abuhamdeh of Tres Pinos; his brothers, Adnan Abuhamdeh of San Jose, Said Abuhamdeh of Virginia and Anis Abuhamdeh of Dubai; his sister, Samiha Abukhadra of San Jose; three grandchildren, five nieces and four nephews.

No services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorials are preferred to the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation or the American Heart Association.
